Description:

Popcorn is a unique microgreen to grow, aka popcorn shoots, and doesn't take too much effort! The seeds you're used to putting in the microwave, are instead soaked for two hours, rinsed well, and sprinkled on top of your grow medium. They're kept moist and in the dark, and within a few days, you'll start to see them sprout! Around 7-10 days, you'll have what's pictured - they're never exposed to light, so they retain their beautiful yellow color.

Micro Uses:

Amazingly sweet and corn flavored, these are a favorite for chefs, but are also perfect just for snacking!
 

  • Growing Information

    4 Ounces of Seed When Used as a Micro:

    10" x 10" trays seeded (crops) = 2-3

    Best medium to grow in = Best in coco coir, not recommended for hydro

    One crop in a 10" x 10" tray will yield = About 6-10 ounces of micros

    Days from seed to harvest = 7-10

    Need to soak the seed before planting = yes
